hello and welcome to my photoblog. this is my little corner of the internet. i have nestled in and from this home i share my photography. roam around. take a look. get to know a bit about how im trying to see the life around me through my camera lens.
i live in the central valley of california. being from of the golden state of sunshine i am an available light photographer. i cant get around it, natural light makes for rich photographs. thus my flash lives like a hermit, alone in my camera bag.
it is my belief that the best camera is the one closest to you and the best subject is the one nearest as well. so you may stumble across my little girl a lot. for this i hardly appogize. if you check out my flickr portfolio page you will see that my iphone + my kid = lots of pictures. i figure if i can become wickedly artistic with 2 megapixels i'll be pretty darn happy.
dont worry, if you hire me and i wont show up with my iphone. i do my "real" photography with a nicer camera. so if you take a look around and enjoy what you see let me know. we can talk and i can follow you around with my camera and snap some photographs and you can have some frozen moments of your life to keep forever.

i know andrea, i know, there are only three pictures. but this little trinity of photos will have to hold you over. you guys rocked the downtown though. thats all i know. also, im pretty sure your mom is the hottest grandma around.

i recently got to shoot the degroot family who introduced me to the jack stone barn in lemoore. awesome venue for photographs.

i immediately understood her desire. shes a photographer and im sure her walls are covered with the same pictures as mine. ive got picture of my kid, my kid with the dog, my kid smelling flowers, my kid with dad, my kid with nana…and zero with me.
i truly hope mom is pleased with this photographic proof that she was actually present for her kids childhood.
to be honest, im jealous.
